Blossom Hill Fellows are multiplying the impact of their programs on refugee children and youth by collaborating together!
In a recent workshop, Blossom Hill Fellows Aziza and Mursal Akrama conducted menstruation management training with over 100 participants in Afghanistan. Their training covered topics related to normal menstruation, including what to do, what to eat, and how to maintain cleanliness during the menstrual cycle. In addition, they distributed 100 pads donated by Blossom Hill Fellow Sultana Amani’s Safe Pad program. The goal of both programs is to empower girls with the knowledge and resources they need to maintain good health and hygiene practices.
