Children at Netalam, a Montessori preschool for marginalized children and refugees in Cairo, Egypt engaged in gardening — this month’s theme for the subject “Practical Life”. The activity is part of Blossom Hill Fellow Amin Marei’s curriculum. The children planted their own seeds, learned about the vascular systems of plants, and decorated their own trees to take home. They were very proud of what they learned and their creations!
