Teachers from Blossom Hill Fellow Lexi Shereshewsky's Early Childhood Center in Azraq, Jordan completed their Montessori training. They found Montessori's holistic approach to the development of the "whole child" — cognitive, emotional, social, and physical — inspiring and innovative especially in the context of refugee children. The method is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play.
