Kawsar, 19, is a graphic design student in the first and only coding school for girls in Herat, Afghanistan. She said: “I am very proud of myself that despite many restrictions imposed on girls and women in Afghanistan, I was able to come this far and not give up on my dreams. I won’t let anyone hinder my progress and I always try to create a path for my independence.”
