VOICES OF HOPE: Our Young Musicians Journey to Volos
Earlier this month, our youth choir and orchestra members in Greece embarked on a special journey to Volos, performing at Saint Joseph School’s 30-year celebration! This meaningful trip, organized by our choir master Vagia Papagiannopoulou, allowed our young musicians to share their talents beyond Athens.
Among these talented performers was 16-year-old Emma from Iran, whose dedication to her craft and dream of becoming a singer exemplifies the transformative power of music. After the performance, Emma shared how much she enjoyed exploring Volos and how this journey strengthened the bonds between all participants, creating connections that transcend differences.
These opportunities for travel and performance are about much more than just music – they’re about building confidence, creating community, and expanding horizons. When our young musicians share their voices and instruments, they demonstrate the spirit of collaboration and inclusivity that defines our program.
We’re so proud of how our musicians represented themselves and our program on this special occasion!
