🧪 Science Without Borders: Empowering Refugee Children in Greece

Meet Yasmine, a 10-year-old scientist from Afghanistan, who recently explored potential and kinetic energy using our Pom Pom Catapult kit in Corinth! She collected data, practiced math skills, and even created her own graph – all while having a blast as a young researcher.

Our science program in Greece continues to evolve, with newly designed math worksheets strengthening the “M” in STEM education. We’re proud to support teachers with training and free experiential science kits that make learning accessible and fun for refugee children.

Beyond teacher support, our Fellow provides direct lessons at community centers near Athens, creating spaces where children like Yasmine can discover the joy of scientific exploration.

Special thanks to Cheirapsies Community Center in Corinth, run by Vasilika Moon, OBT We Are Human, and Aletheia RCS for hosting these transformative learning experiences!
