“Music gave me courage to find my voice.”
Two years ago, Fatat walked into our violin class in the Schisto refugee facility in Greece as a shy 15-year-old from Lebanon. Today, she stands tall as our most advanced student, mentoring beginners and welcoming newcomers with the confidence music has helped her discover.
This is the transformative power of arts education – turning personal growth into community leadership. One violin, one student, one ripple effect of hope.
When we create spaces for young people to develop their talents, even in challenging circumstances, they often exceed our greatest expectations.
