Despite the earthquakes that struck Northern Syria at the beginning of the year and the dire situation of Syrians since the beginning of the civil war, especially for internally displaced people (IDP), Soar Girls in Syria remain hopeful.
Aicha,14, and Fatma, 15, who recently graduated from Blossom Hill’s SOAR Girls Empowerment program were able to create a strong bond that helped them through the tough times following the earthquakes. During the graduation ceremony, the girls celebrated their accomplishments with their peers and mothers and shared precious moments of joy. They said: “It is only thanks to Blossom Hill’s generosity that Girls Soar in Syria is a reality that impacts the lives of so many girls and families every day! “
