On International Women’s Day, Blossom Hill celebrates all the girls and women displaced by war and conflict who participate in our 16 programs across 11 countries. While we recognize that the gender gap persists, with women underrepresented in STEM education and digital careers, there is also an unprecedented opportunity to eliminate all forms of disparity and inequality. That begins with access to education for all girls, including those who had to flee their homes due to conflict. And that is why we are implementing programs in education, child development, vocational training, and technology. These include coding schools, a science program, a college coaching program, Montessori-inspired early childhood centers, a special inclusive education program for autistic children, and girls’ literacy and empowerment programs among others. Happy International Women’s Day!
