Blossom Hill Fellows Erika Gillette and Katerina Tsikalaki are providing training and free science kits to teachers of refugees and displaced students in Greece. After a long period of virtual workshops due to the pandemic, the team is back on the ground, meeting teachers in person at ELIX education center in Athens! This school year, they have already trained 24 teachers on how to teach science in an experiential way, with the aid of science kits. For these students, this is the only science education they have access to.
