Blossom Hill Fellow Amin Marei has partnered with Netalem, a Montessori preschool for vulnerable and refugee children in Egypt, to support children’s learning through his curriculum and activities. He is also supporting their teachers with professional development.

Hassan* and Mona*, two students in the preschool, are learning to associate letter sounds with letter shapes using the Montessori wooden alphabetical shapes. By learning letter sounds using letter shapes, the sense of touch is used to further reinforce learning. They then start making three-letter words with the letters they already know.
