Although the ANKAA center had to recently close due to a spike in COVID-19 cases in Athens, Greece, tailors at Blossom Hill Fellow Sara Vispi’s vocational center are still allowed to continue work. They are busy sewing organic cotton masks and bags, pouches, and pencil cases made out of the rubber material from the boats refugees used to come to Greece. ANKAA has also collaborated with a German company and produced beautiful designs around the topic of diversity. They used their lorry tarp to sew personalized laptop-cases and wash-bags. Have a look!
