Blossom Hill Fellow George Batah is working to help Syrian high school students gain admission and scholarships to competitive universities around the world by providing one-on-one mentoring and financial support. Students are currently in the midst of intensive testing including the SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and TOEFL.

Elie Eshoa received a perfect score on his Math 2 SAT Subject Test. He said: “I feel great about my SAT subject test scores — ‘great’ both in the scores themselves and that they are just and telling, reflecting my strengths and hard work. The one-on-one intensive mentoring, all founded on a pure and genuine commitment to helping Syrians is already what I call ‘heart.’ The financial support is an added benefit. I am in need of, and greatly benefitting from, both.”
