Blossom Hill Fellow Erika Gillette has just returned from another successful trip to Greece, where she has been managing the Science United Project (SUP). SUP delivers science education to displaced students in informal educational settings, like refugee camps or community centers. This past month, she and her team piloted new science lessons on physics and biology and trained teachers and volunteer educators. SUP also distributed 2,000 science kits to NGOs all over Greece and Turkey. The most rewarding part of the trip, Erika said, was seeing her students from summers past who clearly remembered what they learned in her science lessons! #BHTurns10
