Rami Khader is the co-founder and managing director of Diyar Theatre and the curator of Bethlehem International Performing Arts Festival, which uses creative performance art training to inspire young Palestinians to proactively advocate for constructive social change. He is the recipient of the 2015 Arab World Social Innovator Award by Synergos Institute and has organized local and international festivals, events, youth exchanges, and theatre and dance productions and tours. As a Blossom Hill Fellow, Rami is implementing Makan, a new psychosocial initiative to help children heal from the trauma of conflict. Through interactive play, children will have the opportunity to explore, examine, and express their imagination and process their feelings.
