Maram, 14, a student at Blossom Hill’s girls empowerment program, has come a long way after completing 25 Project Soar workshops, which helped her regain confidence and forge new friendships with her peers. Having been internally displaced in Syria as a result of the war, Maram lost everything that was familiar to her – her home, friends, and hometown. Today, she is thriving and eager to pursue her education with her new found friends.
