Refugee children struggle to keep up with their education. Many have been out of school for years and rely on informal classes to catch up. When it comes to learning about science, the opportunities are even fewer. That is why Blossom Hill Fellows Erika Gillette and Katerina Tsikalaki have made it their life mission to teach science to refugee children in Greece and nurture future budding scientists. Mariam and Rahaf, refugees from Egypt, are thriving in their classes!
