Today is World Teen Mental Health Day. At Blossom Hill, we recognize that refugee youth struggle with the trauma of being displaced and the conflict they may have witnessed. Without critical psychosocial therapy, pursuing education and engaging positively in a community can be very difficult.
Blossom Hill Fellow Rami Khader is addressing these issues in 3 refugee camps in the West Bank where many teens have witnessed protracted conflict. Thanks to his innovative work, they are able to process their emotions, adopt positive attitudes and continue to learn at schools.
