Fereshteh Forough hails from Afghanistan and has a Masters in Computer Science from the Technical University of Berlin in Germany. In 2015, Fereshteh founded Code to Inspire – the first coding school for girls in Afghanistan. The program offers young Afghan girls rigorous training in computer science with a curriculum focused on web development, mobile application development, gaming, graphics, and design. Fereshteh is expanding the program to serve more students to ensure they enter a competitive job market with highly marketable computer skills. Location: Afghanistan
